They are one of the most laid back couples I have photographed and I feel that the photos really showed it. I think if I told them to jump in the lake for a cool picture right before the ceremony they would have done it. They trusted me that much which is always refreshing as an artist. We did a photo shoot of Dana in her Mothers wedding dress at the Wentworth Mansion before the ceremony. It was a great shoot and so funny how styles really do come back. For not having any modeling experience both Dana and Joe sure know how to look great all of the time. Thanks for the great weekend!

Brian and I worked at Boggy Creek Gang Camp as camp counselors during our college summers. Boggy Creek was one of those places that stays with you your whole life and as I watched Brian look at Asia with nothing but pure Love and Commitment it reminded me how he would do the same of the kids during the summer. As I got to know Asia over the weekend it was amazing the hear that she possesed the same human qualities that so few have and what is even more amazing is that they found each other. Both Brian and Asia are very commited to everything they do in life and extreamly bright yet down to earth. I wish you both the best as you have the presense and peice of mind to change the world and better so many lives.

To me fine art is something that you create with no rules just what you find to be art. Going back and looking through some of my work I noticed I see clouds, water and grass. What does that mean...I have no clue but that is what I see. I just think it is so interesting to see what people see. I guess that is why I enjoy hanging around kids so much. I am just fascinated at what they see and I always seem to learn something new from them.

Sooooo the reason I titled this journal "light painting" is because a couple of the prints on here are from a whole series of paintings I did in an interesting way. They were done completely in the dark and without paint. Sounds kind weird huh? What I did is shut off all the lights in my studio and used various size flash lights (think of them as my brushes) and put different color gels (think of them as my paints) over the flashlights. I captured all of this with my camera that was focused on a large white canvas. The shutter to the camera was wide open of 10-15 mins while I painted with light. It was addicting and I would keep doing it every night till I could almost see what was going to be saved on the camera before it was ever created. Then what I would do is print these digital files onto a canvas. The whole point of me doing this in the first place was to make a cool art piece to go above my couch at the loft. Fun stuff.

She is the next big thing and is on her way to stardom. Meiko will actually have one of her songs on the season premiere of Grays Anatomy for all you Dreamy McDreamerson fans out there. I talked to her briefly after the show and she is about as down to earth as they come. It was soooo nice to see such a natural talent. Kevin gives Brett and Meiko two huge thumbs up and if you guys ever need album covers let me know.

He puts on such an entertaining show. The photos on the brick wall are from him just jamming out in front with a local talent before the show. It was really cool. I love artists that are true artist and Brett is just that. It is so obvious that he Loves what does and just wants to share it with everyone.
